Surrounded by forest, ocean and a close-knit island community, Daryl Chonka has built a life in the Pacific Northwest. HOME grows from that landscape—and from the understanding that home is a state of presence we carry with us.
Grounded in folk, roots and subtle world rhythms, the record opens into spacious production and rich atmospheric textures. Its songs explore the balance between finding peace within and staying creatively engaged with the world around us.

Daryl Chonka is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. For more than 25 years, he has worked in studios and on stages with artists across Canada and around the world.
His musical voice is rooted in warmth, honest storytelling and a deep connection to the natural world.

Alongside his own songwriting, Daryl has spent nearly two decades working on the road with Randy Bachman in sound and production roles. His own songs return to family, belonging and the ever-changing movement of life.
